Revolutions Slider is a Premium Slider that ships FREE with the theme ($15) value and lets you unleash your creativity in creating amazing sliders with a wide variety of effects & style presets.
When adding a new Text Layer pay attention to the CSS Style Classes Button, there are Several CSS classes specifically created for Terra in the bottom of the list there. Feel free to experiment with them to get the best effect for your particular website. Flexslider also comes with the theme, you can use that one via a custom shortcode you will find under your Admin Panel.
Take advantage of the jQuery Carousels that are also available in the Terra Theme. You can now slide Posts/Pages/Portfolio Items, filter through them, change their order, limit the excerpts shown, hide/show the date etc.
